You may have heard of REX before it was REX.

REX is a non-profit regional economic development organization serving South Central Connecticut.  Originally founded as Regional Growth Partnership (RGP) in 1996, it evolved into REX in early 2010.  With the exciting opportunities available in the region, the RGP brand did not reflect the energy and potential of Greater New Haven.  REX – Regional Economic Xcelleration – captures the true essence of South Central Connecticut.  With a bright, driven, socially responsible community, progress occurs in unexpected ways.  Here, great ideas are explored in an environment where boundaries are perceived as challenges, rather than obstacles.  With so many intelligent and energized people, ideas can be investigated, tested, expanded and, most importantly, implemented.  Often the best ideas aren’t the most obvious.  They evolve through research, analysis and collaboration.  With our history of innovation and a thoughtful, educated workforce, there is no better place to bring the next big idea to fruition.
